Twitter DL3 Ends 92 Event Winless Streak
David Love III ended a 92 event drought at Forest Oaks C.C, located in his home state of North Carolina. Davis Love III fired a 66 on Sunday to slide past Texas Valero winner Erix Axley, who had a three stroke lead at a time during Sunday. Jason Bohn would finish two back of Love, and Axley would ultimately fall to third at three back. Love III told U.S. ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman that he would be playing great by the end of the year, and finally found his winning ways. Tour rookie Eric Axley is playing hot as he has two top three finishes in his last three events.
