Joe Durant and Reteif Goosen are tied for the lead spot after the first round of play at Thursday's Tour Championship in Atlanta. They start the day at a 2-under-68.
27 men are competing for the win. Only 8 players managed to break par yesterday.
Durant came out particularly strong with four birdies in the first seven holes. A feat unimaginable, given that just two months ago he was in danger of losing his PGA Tour Card. To make matters worse, his hotel room was broken into. Then, just like a movie, he won at Disney World. He finished in the top 10 in four tournaments.
