Tiger to skip the par 3 competition at the Masters

If you aren't in Masters-fever mode already, you should be close. The annual par 3 competition kicks off tomorrow, and it will be broadcast by ESPN for the second consecutive year.

This mini-tournament allows players to use their children and friends as caddies, and, in general, to have a good time.

Tiger Woods, once again, will be skipping these festivities. According to his newsletter, he has not chosen to participate since 2005. However, there is hope! Once his kids get a little older, they might suit up for Tiger in the signature white caddie jumpsuit.

For those of you on the east coast, you can catch the competition at 3 PM tomorrow.
