Twitter A T & T Championship Secured
Fred Funk, age 50, won by one stroke on Sunday at the A T & T Championship in San Antonio, Texas. The win gave Funk a $240,000 check. It was his first victory on the Champions Tour, having just entered his first season of eligibility. Funk fended off another young gun for the Champions Tour, Jay Haas as well as old timer, 64 year old Raymond Floyd who looked to become the oldest player ever to win on the Champions Tour.
