First Ryder Cup Standings Released
The first Ryder Cup points standings have been released and as expected, Tiger is on top. Tiger Woods leads all players so far with 897.50 points followed by Jim Furyk at 606.25. The current standings are obviously lacking in many significant names which will surely make the team. Phil Mickelson has not yet played an event during the new standings period while Joe Durant, Troy Matteson, and Erix Axley are in the rankings top 6.
The top 10 on the list as of the first few weeks is as follows:
1. Tiger Woods---897.50

3. Joe Durant---504.11
4. Troy Matteson---375.61
