Luke Donald Shoots an Opening 63 to take the Lead at Sony Open

Luke Donald had nine birdies at the Sony Open to take the lead on the first day.

The crowds, though, followed teen sensation, Michelle Wie. Wie, however, underperformed. She hit the water .... twice. She hit a palm tree ... twice. She hit the bunker ... twice. It took her until the 15th hole until she hit a fairway. She finished the day with a 78. She is 15 strokes behind the leader and will not make the cut. However, she did not fishsh in last place. Abe Mariano finished five strokes behind Wie to take that honor.

Aaron Oberholser withdrew again this week with a back injury. Brendon DeJonge, South Africa, was in Charlotte, NC yesterday at 2 pm when he found out he could play in the event. He arrived in Honolulu around 4 am this morning. He teed off this morning and shot a 69.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

    www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

    Thanks,
    David
