Watson Falls Apart at Senior US Open Finish
Tom Watson started today as the leader at the Senior US Open. With only eight holes left to play, he had a three stroke lead. Then, his nightmare began. He finished with a 78, had three double-bogeys and ended the day in fourth place.
Brad Bryant, who had the day's best round of 68, won at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. His only other career victory was in 1995 at the Walt Disney Classic. Ben Crenshaw finished second at today's Senior US Open.
Bryant pocketed $470,000 for the win.
