Green wins Canadian Open

You might have enjoyed the RBC Canadian Open because of Nathan Green's tremendous victory. You certainly have good reason to do so. Green took down Retief Goosen (pictured left) on the second hole of a Monday playoff. Not only is that victory fantastic because he managed to win against a two-time major champion, Green also held off young gun Anthony Kim and yesterday's leader, Jason Dufner, in the process.

Stephen Ames was the leader of the Canadians at the Canadian Open while former Masters champion Mike Weir never made a move. Weir finished in 24th while Ames had a respectable T8 finish.

It was a rainy weekend, but the tournament still boasted an extremely close finish.

If a victory by a virtual no name doesn't excite you, this might. Leif Olson, a journeyman golfer who came into the Candian Open at 238th in FedEx Cup points, pulled off this shot:

Have to love the Canadian Open.
