Twitter Breaking News: Lob Wedge added to my bag
I am about to make a big move (from Pittsburgh to New Orleans). In the spirit of change, I decided to add a 14th club to my bag. I am now, officially, a four wedge man after adding a 60 degree lob wedge back to my bag.
It has been absent for a couple of years. With so much loft, I used to be easily tempted into bombing it to the hole rather than keeping my chip shots low to the ground. My answer to this problem was to banish the lob wedge from my bag to encourage me to choose smarter strategies...
Nevertheless, I now believe I can use my lob wedge safely and responsibly when the time comes. Only time will tell, I suppose.
