Twitter Couples scores another win on the Champions Tour
Golf great Fred Couples graduated to the Champions Tour this year, and he has already lit the senior tour on fire.
At the Toshiba Classic, Couples finished a solid four strokes away from Ronnie Black (who finished in second place). Tom Lehman posted a 54 hole score at six strokes back from Couples in third place.
If Fred keeps playing this way, I might actually have a reason to watch the Champions Tour. In the 9 rounds he has played so far, he hasn't shot higher than 68 and has produced two wins in three tournaments.
As we probably already knew, Fred still has it. It's too bad that he has problems with his back or he probably could still be a week-to-week contender on the younger TOUR.
Great work to Mr. Couples nonetheless.
