Twitter Weibring Goes Low at First Tee Open
D.A. Weibring jumped out to an early 2 stroke lead today at the 2006 WAL-MART First Tee Open. Weibring shot an 8 under 64 while carrying a two stroke lead over Tom Purtzer. Neither player has played the Pebble Beach Golf Links, the other course in the golf tournament. Hale Irwin, the 2005 Champion, shot a 1 under 71 to start in the middle of the pack. Jay Haas is also tied for second at 6 under after playing Pebble Beach. The tournament will continue over the weekend as the seniors play with junior partners.
