Hall of Fame Class of 2006


The Hall of Fame cermeonies at the World Golf Hall of Fame are set to being on Monday, October 30th. This year's class includes six members of the golf community, former number one ranked Vijay Singh, Larry Nelson, Marilynn Smith, Henry Picard and Mark McCormack. Arnold Palmer be at the WGV to speak for Mark McCormack, founder of the management company known as IMG. IMG would begin on a handshake between McCormack and Palmer at Wake Forest and would lead to managing such greats as Tiger Woods. Vijay Singh is the only player currently playing on the PGA Tour and is only two years removed from his spectacular season where he rose to overtake Tiger as number one in the World Rankings. The event will begin at 6 PM on Monday at the World Golf Village.
