Twitter TGC Announces 2007 Cast
The Comcast owned, 24 hour a day, golf network will kick off its first season of hosting PGA Tour events in January. With the addition of several PGA Tour events to be broadcasted on The Golf Channel, TGC acquired some familiar players and announcers to show that they are the real deal. First, Kelly Tilghman will be the first full time female commentator in golf broadcasting history. Former British Open champion Nick Faldo will also be a full time commentator for TGC, essentially ending his playing career on the Tour at the age of 49. The other members of the TGC team will be:

TGC will begin their broadcast of PGA Tour events with the Mercedes Championship in Hawaii.

Hard to believe Rocco Mediate is going to be a national broadcaster. I knew him years ago when he was a kid in Greensburg, PA .... hope he does well!!
