Twitter "Every Moment Counts presented by AstraZeneca" to air on December 24th on ABC
On Christmas Eve, ABC star George Lopez, will host "Every Moment Counts that will air on ABC.
Produced by PGA Tour Productions, the show will feature two perspectives on PGA Tour events: What happens inside the ropes and, simultaneously, what happens at five charities that the respective tours benefits. It demonstrates that evey moment on the PGA Tour makes a difference.
One segment will focus on AstraZeneca. At 35 select PGA Tour events, the AstraZeneca Charity Challenge rewarded the player who was leading the tournament going into the final round. Each week, AstraZeneca contributed $100,000 to heath care charities in the name of the winner. In 2006, the company contributed $3.5 million dollars. Since the program began in 2004, AstraZeneca has donated $9.7 million.
