Twitter Tiger and His Wife Expecting a Cub
Tiger Woods announced today (his 31st birthday) via his website that he and his bikini-model wife, Elin Nordgeren, are expecting their first child sometime during the summer of 2007.
He and Elin were married October 5, 2004 in a lavish ceremony in Barbados. The wedding was rumored to have cost $1.5 million. Attendees included Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates and Michael Jordan.
The couple met in 2001 when Elin was nanny to the children of Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik.
Tiger will start the 2007 season with the Buick Invitational at the end of January.
