Sergio Garcia turns 27

Sergio Garcia celebrated his 27th birthday today as he prepares to begin the 2007 PGA TOUR season. Sergio has spent seven years on TOUR, but still has not won a major championship. High expectations were set out for Sergio when he contended in his first major championship at Medinah when he was only 19.

Sergio has not yet fulfilled his potential, mostly due to continuous struggles with the putter. The 2006 season led to his drop out of the top ten in the World Rankings for the first time in two years. Of course, Sergio is still three years away from thirty and has some time to find his short game.
