Casey Beats Villegas to Make WGC Match Play Final
We have an all-England final at the WGC Accenture Match Play. Camilo Villegas and Paul Casey took 24 holes (and part of Sunday morning) to complete their semifinal match.
Ultimately, Casey finished the Colombian off after Villegas hooked a drive into the desert. Casey's par on the hole was good enough for the win while Villegas scrambled.
That sets up a Casey vs. Ian Poulter final - two of Europe's biggest stars. Once again, it seems that the boys across the pond know how to dominate match play golf better than the Yankees.
At any rate, it should be an exciting match despite the absence of Geoff Ogilvy and Tiger Woods, who in previous years appeared to be the kings of this event.
