Twitter Adam Scott Wins The Tour Championship
Adam Scott, shot a 66 today at the Tour Championship in Atlanta, for a resounding three shot victory over Jim Furyk. The win ranks Scott as #3 on the PGA Money List with nearly $5 million and strengthens his move from #12 player in the Official World Golf Rankings list to his current #4 rank. It was his first win this season on the tour and the fourth of his career.
He will play at the winners-only Mercedes-Benz Championship in Kapalua. That event is two months away.
Joe Durant placed third. Three months ago, his big concern was keeping his playing card. He now has placed in the top ten in the last five tournaments and is 13th on the money list. He has qualified to play in all four major events in 2007.
