Justin Rose Wins Mastercard Masters

English star Justin Rose won the European Tour's Mastercard Masters by two strokes despite shooting 73. Rose's game came together all week after he finished at twelve under par at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. Rose had been in contention several times this season on the PGA TOUR, but played a solid round on a difficult scoring day. Only four of the players in the top 10 shot rounds under par on Sunday.

Greg Chalmers shot even par to finish tied for second place alongside Richard Green who fired a three under 69 on Sunday. Queensland's amateur star Aaron Pike finished in fourth after shooting a two over 74. Pike had been leading the event after the first and second days. Australian state Aaron Baddeley (left), who won the Verizon Heritage on the PGA TOUR, finished in fifth after shooting a one under 71.

Rose captured a check worth $218, 287 of the $1,152,033 purse.
